  • Network ethically and avoid disruptive, harassing, or discriminatory behavior.

  • Refrain from conduct that creates conflicts of interest or harms the reputation of fellow members, ISSA, or the cybersecurity profession.

  • Follow all applicable laws, venue policies, and the ISSA Code of Ethics.

 

Photography and Recording: Photography of speakers and presentations is permitted at ISSA-LA events unless otherwise restricted. Audio or video recording, livestreaming, or capturing private conversations is prohibited without prior authorization from ISSA-LA. This includes the use of smart glasses (e.g., Meta Ray-Ban), wearable cameras, microphones, AI-powered recording devices, and similar technologies.

Enforcement:

  • ISSA Los Angeles reserves the right to take appropriate action when this Code of Conduct is not respected. Attendees who are asked to stop unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.
    Depending on the circumstances, ISSA Los Angeles may issue a warning, require an individual to leave an event without refund, restrict participation in future events, or take other reasonable action deemed appropriate by chapter leadership.
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from an event or restriction from future ISSA Los Angeles activities.
