Adriana Sanford, J.D., dual LL.M. is the founder of DataPRIVACYHelp.com, an award-winning global threats and privacy expert, Chilean American international television commentator, corporate lawyer, author, and professor. A noted speaker for the American Program Bureau (APB), Sanford provides keynote addresses at some of the world’s top technology, cyber, security, legal, audit, and compliance industry conferences. In her keynote presentation in 2019 at the annual SuperConference sponsored by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), she addressed hundreds of General Counsel and senior lawyers from Fortune 1000 companies regarding cybersecurity and the multi-jurisdictional challenges in the practice of law. Sanford has served as a keynote speaker at more than 140 industry conferences.

Recently featured in Top Cyber News MAGAZINE, Sanford assists companies with building a Culture of Privacy and has trained executives throughout the U.S., as well as remotely in Peru, Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, Mexico, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic. She is deeply attuned to the needs of businesses and serves (remotely) as Of Counsel with Puga Ortis Abogados, a leading law firm in Chile.

Sanford was the lead author of two books on global threats that were adopted by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) for its centennial anniversary, Business Ethics: A Guide to Surviving Storms, Challenges, and Ethical Risks and Ética Empresarial: Una perspectiva global. Her research focuses on the subtle nuances in data privacy laws and the multijurisdictional law conflicts, where possible outcomes for a company’s non-compliance creates hefty fines, criminal penalties and even physical danger for executives and their in-house counsel in foreign jurisdictions.

Sanford was named 2019 Cybersecurity Woman Law & Privacy Professional of the Year at the CSWY inaugural awards. She was also featured in Women in Security: Changing the Face of Technology and Innovation. Sanford co-produces and cohosts The Sanford & Hall Report with retired Rear Admiral Garry E. Hall (USN).

Sanford is a member of the Advisory Board of ISSA-Los Angeles. She has served as a member of the World Economic Forum Advisory Committee for the Partnering Against Corruption initiative in Latin America and as a member of the Board of Directors at Amnesty International USA. Sanford was the keynote speaker for the 2022 Cybersecurity Women of the Year Awards Gala.
